Frequently Asked Questions

"Teeth Whitening at the speed of light!"

One of the first things that people notice when they meet someone is the look of their smile. Bleach Bright has developed a new technology for tooth whitening that works at the speed of light. With only one 15 minute process your teeth will be brighter from 1 to 4 shades! Create a positive attitude for yourself and improve your appearance while achieving a more youthful look with your new radiant smile.

Bleach Bright tooth whitening is not a medical procedure and is a safe FDA approved product. Why waste more time and money at the dentists office, or home kits that take months for the same results you can get with a simple 15 minute treatment?

Treat yourself to the delight of a brilliant smile,  you deserve it

How many shades whiter will I get?

There is simply NO way to estimate how much whiter ANY individual’s teeth will get from ANY bleaching treatment due to genetic factors, tetracycline use, age, smoking, coffee and tea consumption, and a dozen other factors. However, we will honestly try to inform you of our estimation on how our treatments would work on your particular set of teeth. We will also give special recommendations for individuals with multiple years of prominent staining. We strive to help EVERYONE, regardless of the color of their teeth. If we find that you would not be a good candidate for our services, we will do our best to give you other recommendations and options. Although 95% of our patients are satisfied, there may be an individual who, most likely due to tetracycline staining, will not react favorably to a bleaching process. In that rare case, we would only require you to pay $25.00 to partially recover our cost for the supplies and equipment used for your treatment. Consider the rare case of a failed treatment as an inexpensive way to determine whether your teeth will react favorably to any other available bleaching process. Either way, it’s a low-risk, FDA-approved procedure that will in NO way harm the health of your gums and enamel.

How long do the results last?

Answer: Any habits such as coffee, tea, red wine, smoking, chewing tobacco, cigar smoking, cola, or excessive blueberry/wild berry juice intake. Under such habits, we would highly recommend our patented KeepBright Pen which you would use as your maintenance tool to help you stay white plus it will also help oxidate and loosen up tough, old stains allowing your teeth to get even more shades whiter. We may, depending on your habits, genetics, and condition of your teeth, recommend that you come in for an additional treatment 1,3,6, or 12 months down the road.

How long does the procedure take

We set the blue light at 20 minutes, check on you after 15 minutes and if you feel like you can handle the additional 5 minutes, we keep you under the light for the full 20 minutes. We have yet to see anyone who cannot handle the extra 5 minutes.

Does it hurt?

This procedure is virtually painless and ideal for individuals with sensitive teeth. Inlcuded in our ingredients is a desensitizing agent. It is quite rare for anyone to experience any discomfort during OR after the procedure. We are FDA approved and practice only very gentle, risk-free, and safe alternatives for our customers

Any special instructions for me to follow after my treatment?

We highly recommend that you stay away from any food or beverages that would stain a white T-Shirt for a full 24 hours. This includes red sauces, certain fruits and vegetables, AND cigarrette smoking. If you must have a cigarrette within the 24 hour time frame, we recommend using mouthwash or brushing your teeth right afterwards.

How does this whole thing work?

We use blue light technology to accelerate the bleaching process. You will be inserting a multi-directional mouthpiece impregnated with dental grade gel into your mouth. Our prepared mouthpieces already contain the exact percentage of ingredients that interact with the blue light at precision frequencies to get your teeth whiter at a fraction of the time it would take to get them whitened at your dentist’s office. Our ingredients are mild and contain a desensitizing agent to help curb even the slightest sensitivity. Our mouthpieces are flexible and should not make you gag or feel too claustrophobic. We have privacy screens to enclose our patients and our atmosphere is inviting and relaxing. Best of all, it only takes 20 minutes!!

How often do I need to come back for a treatment?

Here again, it varies with each individual. Hopefully, if you curb any bad habits and use at-home maintenance products, you should be able to maintain the whiteness of your teeth for AT LEAST 6 months to a year. (We recommend using our patented KeepBright Pen for customized at-home whitening and our AP-24 Products to maintain the overall whiteness and health of your teeth. Listerine Whitening Mouthwash is also a product we recommend.

Are there instant results?

Yes, of course! Plus, in some individuals, the teeth will continue to whiten due to a reaction from the process for 1-2 hours after the treatment, allowing for an even whiter shade after they leave our office!!

How often do I use the KeepBright Pen?

This is totally up to you. I use mine 3 X a week. Another BleachBright technician uses her pen every day. It’s dependent upon the individual.

Are there any side effects?

In rare cases, one may feel a little tingling sensation, white gum line, or mild sensitivity, all of which are completely normal and hold no real danger. Typically, this will only last for a couple of hours, and doesn’t exceed 24 hours.

How long before I can eat or drink after my treatment?

The first 24 hours we would recommend to avoid coffee, tea, dark colored sodas, red wines, berries, candy, red sauces, beets, or any foods that have the propensity to stain. Remember if it leaves a tee shirt stained it will stain your teeth.

Who may benefit from the BleachBright System?

Almost everyone can enjoy the benefit to the bleaching process if their teeth and gums are healthy. Remember, teeth can not be bleached whiter than genetically possible. Tetracycline stains can not be removed with only one treatment. It could take as many as 5 or 6 treatments to remove tetracycline stains and there is still no guarantee with this type of staining. Also, any stains resulting from excessive fluorides, discolored veneers, or if the teeth are porous, one can expect little result. Excluding the above, about 95% of our clients experience success.

I have a crown on my anterior or front teeth. Will your product whiten my teeth?

Not the crowns. However, the standard procedure is to first whiten all adjacent teeth, wait two weeks for the color to stabilize, then go to your dentist and have him match the crown to the new shade of your teeth. On the contrary, if a crown is already been in place for many years, the whitening process can return the rest of the teeth to the original shade prior to the crown placement. The same goes for your composites, bridges, and veneers.

Will the gel and peroxide you offer be the same as from my family dentist?

Absolutely, Our partner in dentistry actually supplies a great deal of product to dentist offices throughout the nation. Our carbamide peroxide, although at legal limits, are in many cases more potent than what your dentist will supply. The key to the success of our whitening system is our patent blue light technology which increases the potency of whitening at a fraction of the time and cost.

Is this procedure done by a dentist?

This bleaching process is provided by professionals in the teeth whitening business and are not necessarily a dentist.

What causes stains?

Some teeth are naturally pigmented or stained as they develop. Typically, stains come from exposure to tea, coffee, smoking, juices, colas, wine, age, or just about anything that would stain a white tee shirt. This is why we highly recommend the KeepBright Pen and AP-24 Products to help keep you white and bright.
