The Everyday People program at Shear Ego Salon documents the triumph of the human spirit. Each month we will select from letters submitted to us to honor an Everyday Person for their outstanding Spirit.

We highlight the efforts of people who go above and beyond to make the lives of those around them better. They have survived the problems that life has to offer and kept their spirit to keep going and also give back to those in need. They are the nameless, faceless people who represent the best in all of us. Our intention is to give them recognition and surprise them with a gift of our services to “Thank Them” for being the selfless people that make this world a better place for all of us.

They are our Everyday Heroes.

Here we will highlight the details that make their stories special. Their stories could be your stories.

To thank the Everyday Person, Shear Ego Salon and I invite you to submit your nomination and tell us of a wonderful person, whom you know never gets a break.

We will choose one (1) person per month to honor. They and you will be treated to complimentary services within the Salon.

You and they will receive free:

• Scalp Massage
• Haircut
• Hair Style
• A gift of Shampoo and Conditioner to take home

We may not have fortunes to give, but if we give what we can it may make a difference for you and me. If we can succeed in making someone happy, even for a little while, we may find "What makes our Heart Sing".

• Name of the person you are nominating
• Best way for us to contact you
• Tell us their story or about them

We will select our first "Everyday Person" to nominate on October 1, 2009. Please help us make this a success! Submit your nominee.

When the Everyday Person is selected, we will contact them and you to set up a suitable time for your services.

We will post the name of the person picked on our website and tell about their great spirit.

This letter will be emailed to our clients as well as our friends. Please feel free to pass this on to anyone that may be interested in honoring a friend and getting rid of their "Slump".
